Butt-Glazed Windows
With butt-glazed windows, there’s no impediment to your view. Typically, butt-glazed windows consist of an extra-large window or windows that have one monolithic piece of glass that doesn’t fit the entire frame of the window. We actually take more than one piece of glass and join it directly to another piece of glass without a vertical frame to divide the glass. It’s glass to glass, so all you see is your beautiful vista!
Mitered Windows
In basic mitering, two pieces of glass are fitted together from parts cut from an angle. For example, two pieces cut at a 45-degree angle fit together to form a 90-degree corner. Mitered windows take this same approach but allow for curved or angled openings. We join the glass together to achieve the corner.
